Palacio Casa Torre (history interpretation centre)
An austere baroque palace built in 1760, with a beautiful coat-of-arms. Completely restored in 2011, it now houses an Exhibition Room and a History Interpretation Centre.
Opening hours: Monday-Friday: 18:15 – 21:30. Saturdays: 9:00 – 14:00 / 18:15 – 21:30. Sundays, bank holidays and in August: Monday-Saturday: 9:00-14:00.

Mount Serantes
Spectacular view of the bay, the coast and Greater Bilbao. A strategic vantage point overlooking the whole coast. Its fortifications, built up over the centuries, can now be explored thanks to 38 km of signposted pathways. (Santurtzi Nordic Walking Centre)

Palacio de Oriol
This Victorian-style palace built in 1902 tells the story of Biscay’s Golden Age, when upper class tourists used to visit the town to “take the waters of the Cantabrian Sea”, as prescribed by their private doctors. From its observation balcony there are magnificent views of the whole of El Abra.

Submerge yourself in Santurtzi’s seafaring past. Lemanes (coast pilots), corsairs, sardineras (women sardine sellers) and the people from the sea will accompany our visit.

Discover the traditional Agurtza tuna fishing boat, one of the last traditional wooden fishing boats which remains on our coast, which was built in Lekeitio in 1968 and converted into a Fishing Interpretation Centre.
